Cottages/nature lodges

At the moment, ,,Mosquito” has newly built, well-maintained cottages overlooking the river valley, tent and camper sites, as well as boat pier on the river banks. There are 3 types of houses available in the territory – LOFTS or “Lielais Ods”, “Mazais Ods” cottages and a Guest House. Each of these cottages has different levels of comfort. Activities @Mosquito

There are football and volleyball courts, a trampoline and a mini children’s playground in the territory. Rental boats and paddle boards are available. Well-maintained campfire and grill places (possible fishing and fish smoking). There are also great walking trails along the Bārta River.

,,Mosquito” mini ZOO

Yes! Here you can visit a wonderful company – sheeps, goat Martha, rooster Kārlis and chickens! They can’t wait to see You!

Hiking

We organize hikes along the Bārta nature trail (the old Vīle bridge, Bārta waterfall (~ 3m) and trench areas) with the possibility to prepare a delicious meal by the fire.

Sauna and hot tub

There is a bigger sauna together with the Guest House and a smaller sauna located in the area, and it can be rented by anyone. In addition, the small sauna will offer a wonderful view of Vilkupīte and the forest. We also offer a hot tub for your rest!
